School Dracevac [2020]

The school is located in Zadar, in the Ploče area. The project involved reconstructing the existing school building and adding four classrooms on the upper floor, connected to the courtyard. The existing building was retained as a small sports hall with supporting facilities.

Due to the already limited school grounds, the extension was built on the upper floor to free up as much outdoor space as possible. The new addition is a modernist white volume, resting on the existing dark base and steel elements (columns and staircase) that touch the ground.
